National Average 6-Year Graduation Rate

The IPEDS 6-year graduation rate for 4-year public institutions, used as a benchmark.

Definition

The 6-year graduation rate for 4-year public postsecondary institutions reporting to NCES, from IPEDS data provided by the National Center for Education Statistics. The University's rate is compared with it directly, year by year.

How it is calculated

IPEDS publishes about two years behind, so the benchmark ends earlier than the University's own series. Missing years are shown as gaps, never as zero.
