The share of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino, American Indian or Alaska Native, Asian, Black or African American, or Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander.
Definition
The percentage of students who have identified as one of the following ethnicities:
- Hispanic or Latino
- American Indian or Alaska Native
- Asian
- Black or African American
- Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander
How it is calculated
The population is students of any enrollment status, excluding non-resident aliens and students who did not disclose an ethnicity. Because it is a share of students who reported an ethnicity, its total differs from both Student Headcount and Pell Eligibility.
